FBI want to access a shooter’s iPhone, so they ask apple for help. But Apple detested those behavior. Then they take this matter to the court, but FBI drop this case before the hearing. Then they find a third-party company to crack iPhone.

In this battle, FBI wants to catch the shooter as soon as possible. They want to protect citizen by life aspect, because those terrorists are real dangerous for people safety. The Apple have a different standing. They protect their customer privacy, whatever they are. This is their professional ethic. One protect citizen, another protect their customers. No one was wrong, just play in different roles, so they have different ethic.

The solution two is reasonable. The device is a personal property. If the owner have a very big damage to society, the court will judge the ponderance and necessity. This will balance the society safety and personal privacy.

The solution three is not fair. Government can not judge a necessity objective. Because they are the participators. That need a third-part official organization, such as court to judge the necessity. Some time they break a device because this is a direct way to find evidence. In fact, that may not be the only way.

The solution 4 is very ethical. The company absolutely protect customers’s information. But some times it may make trouble for catching terrorists. This is bad for people safety. The company should recognize the cases’ seriousness. Then give rational help.

We need to balance the privacy and life safety, so the solution two is the best task. If the privacy protect to menace people life. This computer science ethic will be not benefits for human. So we need a little balance for it better work for human.
